Breakdown recovery advice please.

Postby Speedy Hufton » Sun Aug 04, 2024 4:19 pm

As the topic says. Now I've been with the RAC for over 10 years and like everything it keeps going up. Now I've been lucky and never had fut use their services, however this year they basically tried fut extract the urine! I dunna want homestart but I require it for my van and four scooters basically come out and take me where I want as such. This year my renewal which had always been high bearing I'd never called em out, went up £100 to £281. I'm now currently out of cover so would appreciate any help I can and prices roughly paid.
Many thanks mi ducks, Speedy.

Have a read of this. I’d been with the RAC for many years. Now with Start Rescue.

Well after much searching for Breakdown recovery cover I'm now sorted thankfully. I looked at a multitude of options on the net and there were so many mega cheap deals as such, all offering this and that, or very little. Anyhow the thing is yer never know how good anything is until yer use it, which is a concern if any vehicle yer using breaks, doah.
Anyway I got a quite of the AA after reading how good they had been with Toddy on the way back from Seahouses, however I surpose their will be others with disaster stories  . I filled all in online and at the end my bank sent a message to ensure it was a safe site and had certain things showing it was. I couldna get back to the start so panicked and cut it off( Long story, we've had our account scammed and the bank have been brilli
So yesterday a representative called and asked if we were still looking and more importantly if it was convenient fut speak, or arrange a better time, that's rare nowadays!!!
So went through it all and got member cover for me , the van, all scoots, as it should be. Plus me in someone else's vehicle. Roadside assist and onward to wherever I need in the UK. Didna need any other add ons, so all towd, another discount appeared saving another £2.62  on the previous online attempt , it came out at £161.07 :D . So all sorted now and the RAC can go and extract the urine elsewhere. , cheers ,Speedy
