The reg follows the frame, you'll need a dating certificate and a NOVA to get it registered regardless of the engine. It will also need to be complete and have an MOT.

The docs you have for the et4 can't be used to register your Spanish frame. Transferring the numbers related to the et4 v5 to the Spanish frame would be a clear case of 'ringing' - attempting to change or disguise the identity of a vehicle.

Has you've had "heart failure" I'm impressed that you're able to consider even getting out of bed. ;)

It's possible that the frame on that conversion wasn't able to be dated and therefore issued an age related plate. It would have been inspected and issued with a new plate or a Q plate.

I think also maybe some of the early scomadis or the old series 5 / 6 Frank Sanderson conversions may have been registered as 'new' as well.

If you can read the number on your frame you should be able to get a dating certificate and a NOVA and register it on an age related plate even with the motor transplant.

Hope you're health improves.
