Hi,

'The Complete Spanners Manual' suggests using SAE90 in the gearbox.
My local motorcycle shop informs me that this is an old designation and is no longer available.
Does anyone know the modern equivalent that I should be using (I have 2 scoots that I am rebuilding, a 1965 Silver Special & a 1966 SX200)

Thanks in anticipation.
Hutch

It's not an old designation I still get it in Lincoln, don't say anything about Lincoln  but most people use Rock oil or the like as torquewrench says. If you are going to Cleethorpes at the weekend I will bring you some.
