New GP 150 rebuild. Crank, barrels, piston Head etc. Starts first time on choke with a standard 22 Delly, does not like the choke off until really warm otherwise it dies. Shall I up the pilot size until it's run in to be on the safe side. Standard jetting at the moment.

Thats an idea but have you cleaned the carb out internally maybe something blocking it or may have an air leak was the rebuild pressure tested ?

It is starting well and when warm it revs well with the choke off. When I ride it the fuel seems to be starved every few yards then it picks up for a few yards. The carb is spotless and the flow from the fast flow tap is not too bad. I have changed to an atomiser with bigger holes, still the same. The vent hole in the tank cap is fine. Just feels like it wants to run out of petrol ?

Is your fuel pipe too short or long?

That could be your problem it should be a gentle curve to allow for engine movement
