After rebuild done 50 miles but now won’t tick over without choke on. Complete engine rebuild new carb must say left it 6 weeks without touching it if that helps. Would jets become blocked

Possibly blocked ? It Won’t hurt to blow it all through with compressed air
How clean is the petrol tank/petrol tap?

Tank was acid cleaned and the tap is new

Pilot jet is blocked, clean the whole carb, the pilot jet is the small one numbered 45 to 50 or very close. 10 minute job.
