4 stroking

Postby stonerosesmod » Mon Apr 20, 2015 12:33 pm

Running my Li150 with a mugello 198 kit and 28mm phbh and have been getting a lot of 4 stroking at 1/4 throttle.Wind on the throttle past and it clears no problem.Went on the cambridge rideout yesterday and it was dripping oil out filter onto running board it was so bad but rode superbly all the 40 miles home along the A14.

Spec,

28phbh with breathe sweet
55 Pilot
AV266 atomiser
X7 needle on 2nd clip
120 main

JL3 pipe

Is it worth dropping the needle down to the top clip to see if it cleans it up a bit?

Gone down to a 53 pilot, and still 4 strokes at 1/4 throttle! Also the mixture screw is 1/4 of a turn out and it still feels too rich when you blip throttle.Strange as ive gone from a 26mm to a 28 carb and the 28 feels much richer at lower throttle
