Help, I have a 25mm dellorto phbl carb. Still learning. took needle plate out and didn't notice which way it was positioned. need to know how it goes in. A picture would help. Been looking online but haven't found any diagrams that show it.

Thanks but I saw that and mine is shaped differently. Also doesn't really show the position.

If you look @ the slide top recess, you will see that there is a matching rib sticking up to register with the ‘needle plate’

.....BTW

That plate serves to keep the needle in place, (pushing downwards if you like) by the plate pressing on to the little circlip that fits in the needle grooves.
