Carb slides.

Can any one tell me which slides are richer on a 22mm Delortto copy? Are the ones which are just flat richer than the ones that have a "scoop" cut out of the back?
Also, I'm I right in thinking, turning the airscrew IN on these carbs enriches the mixture? There seems to be conflicting advice between different websites.

Thanks for any advice.

Flat slides are for a 200 and "scooped"slides are for a 150.The mixture screw is wound out to richen it and in to weaken it.

Thanks for the reply.
I have a 125 with a 175 top end and using a scooped slide. It is running lean at the bottom end. Would the 200 (flat slide) be richer?

I've tried both slides, 150 one seemed to be the better option (not much in it tho).
Li 125 with a 175 top end,
22mm scootopia carb, 50 choke, 50 pilot, 125 main, 5899_2 atomiser.
Still seems to be running lean, air screw not doing much other than cutting out when fully in. Plug fairly light in colour, should it be darker?

Previously had an air leak on the exhaust manifold, new gasket fitted.
Running out of ideas now
Any thoughts from those more knowledgeable than I ?

anything above a 150cc I'd jet up to suit a 200cc, including the slide 8-)

Plug is too new to tell... use an older plug with more deposits on it if you want to see whats going on

Unless everything is as per standard (exhaust, barrel state of tune) you should be in the right ball park with the good advice received as in similar set up to a 200. However, even a clubman will increase performance & need carburettor richening...

It has a 42mm clubman exhaust and standard air box and filter.
Thought I might try using a "colour tune" to see how it running at different revs.
Anyone used one on lammy? Was it helpful?

I've copied & pasted part of a tuning chart that should be a good guide for your set up:
