Hello
Thinking about buying sterling exhaust, anyone recommend carb size/ jetting setting for standard 200 engine.
Cheers Jim

Got one on my GP175. 28mm Delly, not overly impressed with the pipe though.

Never run one but I have run a PM (Sterling is a copy, apparently a pretty poor one at that).
I ran a PM on an engine with more mid and top range power than a standard 200. It produced power at the top end but killed power low down, so much so that I often had to slip the clutch to get it moving
Any reason why you are attracted to a Sterling?

Price is the only reason to be honest, I like the style of the pipe up the side of the legshield but I'm not that bothered about loads of performance, any other suggestions?

Personally, a standard box pipe or Clubman. But, if you really want an Expansion pipe then maybe a JL3 or JL1, if you can find a JL1. Maybe, a TM24 or PhBl25 carb with a JL3?
I’m speaking theoretically but not from experience.

I once swapped an AF clubman for a sterling on a muggy and wish I hadn’t. I know this doesn’t answer your questions but if an expansion is what you want save a bit more and you wont be disappointed with quality and a little more performance.
Cheers Shane

Thanks folks, based on the comments I'll have a rethink and maybe stick with me clubman!
