Dellorto PHBH BD (Right Hand Adjustment)

Need help with a tuning kit, how do you tune your scooter, which kit should I choose, and all general tuning and modifcations questions are for in here.

Dellorto PHBH BD (Right Hand Adjustment)

Postby AlG » Mon Mar 08, 2021 5:06 pm

I have a GT240 running a 30mm PHBH BS on the drive/KS side, so adjustment on the left against the engine mounting and really difficult to get to.
There is loads of space on the other side, so a PHBH BD (D for destra, or right) makes sense, except they only seem to come up as four Stroke carbs off MotoGuzzi's.
Has anyone found a BD two stroke, or converted a four stroke to two stroke? How easy is it, what parts are needed for the conversion?

Cheers

I had the same problem with a TS1, so just blanked it off and set tick over near enough on the cable, then used the
adjuster on top to get it perfect.
You can get RH 2 stroke ones I've got one on another bike but it's a bit older, they are definitely not as readily available as the LH

Cheers Dwayne, Looks like it is cheaper to buy a new one from Dellorto UK than find and convert a second hand Guzzi carb.

I fitted a BGM air screw on mine and shortens it so I could adjust the mixture.
