I have two sets of clutch springs. One set is around 35mm tall and the other are 28 mm. The ones that are 35mm I presume are standard and the others are the stronger type is my theory correct?

Unless a material other than 'music wire' has been utilised, there's something strange if a spring wire diameter of only 1.65 mm can be stronger than similar springs of the same manufacture with greater wire diameters....
