Bought a knackered RB20 barrel, had been further tuned, exhaust port raised and widened. Which subsequently destroyed the piston when the rings caught. Looking to get it sleeved at one of the places in the recommendation post in T&Ks further down/up. Having never had a barrel sleeved or ran an RB20 my question is can the 'sleevers' take the porting back to standard or even detune to tame the beast or make more useable? Can I also increase capacity by overboring and sleeving? If so, do I supply the 'sleevers' with an oversize piston from AF and they match the sleeve + tolerance to the supplied piston?
Cheers, Paul.
