Have been running a GT186 with 24 mikuni and ancilloti , absolutley fine, however, thinking of changing up to a 30 dellorto and a BGM Clubman for just a little more grrr.

Should I just bolt on?

Or........?

mb/bgm exhaust and re-jet your carb. I have the exact same set up you aspire to but the TM24 is, IMo, a great responsive carb.

Ahh, I am actually running a PHBH30 on my GT186 and MB clubman set up :-)

But, I am toying with the idea of putting a TM24 on at some point. I last ran a TM24 on a road tuned 193 which was somewhere approachng GT performance. From memory, 4DH7 rings a bell. It was certainly weaker than convention suggested at the time.

I may well have it written down at home. I'll have a look tonight.

Pilot 17.5, needle 4DH7 second clip, main 175. I had a RamAir through the panel.

I had tried a 5N13 needle but it was too rich in mid range.

May I emphasize, this wasn't on GT186 though and all engines vary.

Hello all

I've been running a GT 186 kit with a 30mm Dellorto , BGM clubman for about two years now way better than the original set up I had with the 25mm dellorto . A good mate of mine had it dynoed Readspeed , had the inlet and exhaust matched returns approx. 19 BHP . Jerome did have some issues getting the needle just right , filed it down slightly although because it ran better although it is set quite rich. Lovely set up , to be honest I don't even use a filter it gets enough air without cutting any panel work and it doesn't spit fuel everywhere .
