Sip speedo cable

Need help with a tuning kit, how do you tune your scooter, which kit should I choose, and all general tuning and modifcations questions are for in here.

Had a sip speedo on for a while, just fitted one of the new cables to my hub ... just wondered what the sensor setting is for it .... any info would be greatly appreciated

I believe you need to set the menu to EXT and use the ratio as per the type of scooter in the table

I've fitted a few of these .. original cable and the magnetic type ... however 1st time I've used this type .. was set to external .. and tyre size .. it was the pick setting that's got me stumped ..says set to 6 as per instructions that come with it ....but that's pants ..

I agree, the instructions are not very helpful, mine uses the remote sensor aimed at the wheel studs and works brilliantly now that I have set the pulses correctly. I think you have to set it to Internal and then set the speedo gear ratio according to the chart in the instructions. Good luck ;)

I ve got one and it works very well. The is setting is ext and diameter is 1001mm and its spot on with gps

I've got some additional instructions- I'll try and remember to upload them tomorrow

ADJ -2 = EXT
ADJ 3 = 1001
ADJ 3 = SP06

ADJ3 should = 1000 to start with. This setting wants know how many speedo drive cable rotations there are per Km. ( 1610 revs per mile) In reality though. you need to make slight compensations based on tyre choice Tyre wear and tyre pressures.
ADJ 3 is the number of magnetic pulses produced by the sensor for one ration of the speedo drive.
