Update, just comparing the 150 main to a 190 and the 150 is bigger ffs. Looks like it's been drilled out. Fitted a 140 and seems a lot better. Will back the timing off to 21 aswell .

thats a good idea ! its an easy reversible test and if there is no improvement, then you will be able to eliminate aggressive timing being the problem with certainty.......... rather than just conviction.

Well I have to say that it sounds bluddy fantastic compared to my poor old scoot .

It does sound a little flat like the throttle response is slightly laggy but then you haven't got any kind of filter on the carb so its not going to give you a normal response anyway. It sounds to me like the engine is drawing far too much air too quickly and the needle slide is rising too fast which is probably over enriching the mixture .
just as an experiment try partially covering the venturi to varying degrees whilst giving it some wellie on the throttle . You might find the throttle response picks up better which would indicate you need to restrict the air flow.
Have you tried running it at high speed for a few miles then cutting the engine dead ? reading the spark plug will give you a good idea of whether the engine is running too rich at WOT

theres no throttle lag , its the miss matched audio/vid bit like the old spag westerns lol. its top end revs dont sound clean to me and i have not been on the road yet. will get it built up now and get out on the road to see what its like , sounds fit other than that top end niggle . will up date in a couple of years when i get it done
