There is a pick up alignment test in April scootering that might help identify a possible problem electrical problem.

One way of ruling out the choke sticking is by fitting a flip choke system to test it, this may not cure the problem but it's something you can tick off the list.

have you strobe checked the timing. I had a warm starting problem due to incorrect timing. The static timing by timing Mark was 19deg, (BGM stator and AF flywheel) but when strobed it was down at 17 deg.

Check your tank too.
I had similar symptoms some years ago.
Changed stator, flywheel, cdi, carb, exhaust then decided to change tank. Perfect after that.
Fuel would flow perfectly when stopped but introduce vibration and eventually it would stop.
Obviously residual debris in tank that only blocked tap whilst on the move.

Replaced the BGM stator with a Casa Lambretta one from Scooter Restorations and all fine. Phew!

And twice the ring pegs popped and knackered both piston and barrel (replaced by MB). Now a new piston that MB have sourced, sell, and advise on using on the RT kits...
