Hello

Is anyone running a Gran Turismo 240 ( or GT200/GT186) 30mm Dellorto on the right hand side with the shortened manifold and an air filter?

If so what type please, any issues with panel clearance etc

Pics would be nice ! :D

is this for a series 2 or 3? I have the right side inlet (kickstart side) on my GT240 in a series 3 and there is NO room for any type of filter, the carb is less than 1/2" from the panel.

I did have 186 on r/h side on a Series 2. Used it with an MB filter around the bell mouth and against the panel. When I had to rebuild engine, I got a left handed manifold and put a breathsweet on it. Much better performance.

I've got a breathsweet that I keep meaning to put onto my GT186 but haven't got round to it yet, how much impact did it have on your jetting?

I can’t rightly remember but, as a very general observation, the breathsweet filter is not restrictive, and so, the jetting is near where it would be open mouthed.
