Just built a new engine for a mate RT195... built about 4 of these this year... can I get the bastard to start?
Engine leak tested. 1.2mm squish. 0.5mm plug gap
Got plenty Fuel... Know I've got good compression... I'm getting a good strong spark....
I dont know the heritage of the Stator & Flywheel, never saw the engine running but told it was....
Compression, Fuel & Spark.... should equal bang... but nothing.
Tried easystart... nothing...
Can only be timing right?
Static Timing set at 17deg (positive stop TDC)

Hi mate
Is the engine in the scooter or on test rig.
If in bike is ignition down to Earth? Disconnect ignition kill wire to headset.
Maybe worth a try.

Not green wire from headset... good a good strong spark
Piston fitted correctly
Got a new stator and flywheel for the next build that I’ll try tomorrow night

If your getting a good spark, all it can be is the timing.

A good strong spark with the plug out does not mean its sparking in the scooter try the green wire out to check

Is the plug getting wet?
It might be sparking but is it sparking at the right point? Have you tried a different flywheel?
