Is anyone running an RT195 with 22mm carb & clubman? I thought it would be a pretty straight forward set up but having a problem on tick over, it’s fine at first but seems to bog down yo the point of not revving at all

No replies (apart from this one that doesn't count)....surprising

It would be helpful to anyone looking to help if you could post up what jetting your carb has now and, perhaps, what type of Clubman too

Not really......I was opening the discussion with a simple generic question, I got no response so it seems that no-one is running an RT195 with 22mm carb & clubman so no point in going into detail. I'm pretty sure I've sorted the issue now.

I was using a Scootopia remote air filter but it was literally not letting any air through. I’ve experimented with a Ram-Air filter fitted straight on to the carb and a cheap universal filter with an elbow off eBay and it runs fine with both.

Hi I’m thinking of getting a RT 195 kit and also running it thought the derestricted airbox and 22mm scootopia / Ancelotti or BGMV4.
Anyone doing similar / any issues? Is this carb too small ?

I’ve run small block kits with 22mm Scootopia and Jetex carbs, both are great value and easy to set up. Some people push you for a bigger more expensive carb but they could be harder to set up and increases could be marginal depending on the rest of the set up.

I built an RT240 with a 22mm bored to 24mm and a Scootopia clubman, it pulled like a train, but didn't rev high, should have left it alone and fitted a TV200 box, rather than reed it and muck about trying to get it to rev! ho hum.
