If I were to make changes based upon your preference for a Ron Moss exhaust (probably the best choice along with Ralph Saxelby's) then presuming that CR & squish are optimised, I would obtain a better carburettor, the PWK (blueprinted) being the obvious choice. In my experience, you could even go as large as a 34 with no issues & the beauty of the PWK (besides cost, ease of set-up, the fact that they are not some dynosaur four stroke round slide carb bodged to suit etc

) is their ability to work well with adequate air filtration. That in itself will improve MPG as the elbow will entrap any blowback.
My engines tend to be probably a tad more 'optimised' than yours (current 'on road' include TS 70 x 60 with additional crankcase porting; Rapido 71 x 61 ported) but both run extremely well with a 34. Yet the same carburettor worked just as well on a slightly tweaked 200.
I'd shop around for a 32 if I were you.
Get the top end sorted & it should be a pleasure to then think about your gearing. If all goes well, a 20 x 47 might be in range, but 19 x 46 may be the best compromise if 'you must do it now'
