I have heard a few people complaining about rngines being too hard to kick over and just saw this posted by Steve Richards (The Steel Weeze) on You Tube. Just wondering why no one has suggested drilling a decompression port before, thoughts anyone?

That's interesting and could well resolve a problem I have with a scootopia kit, thanks.

Ha ha I thought there was something wrong when I first spotted the hole but I heard a few lads with the early version have calves like Grealish lol

I remember watching a lad on a track day at croft on a kx500 supermoto. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I watched the poor bloke trying to kick it over.

You could see he was genuinely scared of it and I don't blame him.

No idea if a KX has a decompression port or not, but it certainly didn't look like it.

Funnily enough I have, one came into the motorcycle garrage that I worked in for a while when I left school, I stunned at the length of the cylinder so gave the kickstart a lazy kick. I must have caught it on the downward exhaust stroke as there was no resistance just a long sucking noise, somone told me I was lucky it didnt fire as it would have launched me through the window if it had
