rapido 200cc asso 66mm rings cast or wire?
Posted: Tue Jan 04, 2022 10:44 amI am just putting a used rapido 200cc with an asso piston into my tv200, It did come with skimmed head so I assume its the race one parts fair find a few years ago oh those were the days lol
are the rings 66mm rings cast or wire? asso were wire at one stage but rarer than hens teeth now as not many asso pistons for sale these days
the ring gap is just out of the wear range
do I have to be wary of running the chromed cast rings from Mahle indians in it as I doubt I will be able to tell without trying to snap one
I was going to fit with a standard head and run as standard possible up jetting and a scootopia / tutto exhaust not fussed with high speed adequate is fine
will it work?
