anyone have knowledge about boring out a std 22mil carb on a 200 engine?

did it work ok?
did it improve performance?
is there a richer atomiser to use?

i dont understand how it can make a difference for the better as the inlet manifold is the same bore - smaller diameter means faster velocity and am i right in thinking arbs work better with more flow

trying to keep std looks but possible tweaks....

Local bloke to me bored out a 22mm years ago to 26mm(?) if memory serves - it went ok by the atomiser kept falling out. It was a while ago so can’t remember all the details properly . Cheers Paul :)
