http://www.ilambretta.co.uk/12v.html tells you all you need to know if you literally want what you say and not an actual electronic conversion

Hi mate
The simple conversion works well and costs very little , I have 3 scooters that work well on this system.
However , to reduce power drain to headlight when brake light activated I used LED rear light bulb.
Have now added a battery to the AC system ( mod detailed by Grandpa on this sight) run rear brake light and horn on DC system from battery and have super brake light and a proper horn.
Have converted two bikes to 12v AC system with DC battery, been running for almost a year and very pleased set-up.

Search under lambretta 6-12v conversion and there is another thread when I did mine.
I connected the pink and brown wires together, run them through the regulator and the lights are good. There is significant dimming when the rear brake light is on, Fitting an LED rear lamp to stops the dimming But the brake light isn't as good.
I run with the lights on all the time otherwise the regulator is continually dumping all of the power from the coils.
Hope this helps
