super steel on engine case.
Posted: Sat Feb 28, 2015 9:04 pmI've just found out why my engine case is drawing gearbox oil into the top end, where I've had the cases welded there is a small pin sized hole going into the transfer port. Will it be ok to use super steel to fill it up or should I strip it all down and get it ali welded.
If I was running a standard top end I'd use the super steel but I've got an avanti top end fitted and obviously it will be an expensive mistake if it doesn't work.
