exhaust for muggy 225

Keep wrecking clubman exhausts on my mugello 225, they never seem to line up quite right and the stress causes them to fall to bits.
Anyone else had the same problem and if so how did you resolve it?

Same issue, different pipe.
Suffered several cracks strengthened one then the stress moved somewhere else.
In the end we cut the pipe and made a slip joint with springs, silicon seal and no problems since.

Some Muggys, not sure which version, have extended alloy thickness around the port which pushes the exhaust stud or down pipe out of the normal position. With some exhausts it's possible to modify, ie shorten, the down pipe but I don't think that's possible with a clubman.

That's what the problem with mine is, it's the one with the silly extra collets to supposedly centralise the cylinder head.

With my clubmans I cut off the swan neck bracket, moved it forward 5 to 10mm and rewelded :-/

I'll never buy another muggy, which is why my current engine build is a GT186.

I've ended up buying a bgm clubman with the different swan neck.
Hopefully that will be a better fit and last a bit longer. I'll let you know how well I get on.
I didn't have the same problem with the 186 muggy, Indian big bore just slotted straight on.

Got it fitted easily enough. Just need to get the jetting sorted again.
