It is supposed to be similar to Threebond 1104/1184 or Yamabond 4,
has anyone ever used it with success at the cylinder base?

I have no experience of this product , but im sure it will be fine ...
I use ordinary bathroom silicone , clear if I have it, if not white :)
I use it on the base , head, inlet and exhast, I also put it under the head washers and nuts. I pressure test for leaks , sometimes straight after assembly. No problems

Supposed to tighten joint/flange up, but not fully tight then after about two hours torque it down.

Think it's originally a devcon product, if it's the same stuff it was silicon based, when I used it I bought one tube but didn't like it as much as the Threebond.

Cheers both ;)
I'll buy a Threebond next week,
I just found one unopened Motoseal (couldn't remember when I got it) and was curious about it,
it can make a nice birthday or Christmas present
