Hi,
Will this clutch run fine on St90 or does it need to be run on the 10w/30 light gear oil like someother motorbike plate inspired clutches do.
There were no instructions, and have yet to get an answer back from LTH.
Any comments much appreciated

I just use ST90 in my two bikes with this clutch - one of them my Group 6 racer - no issues with either.

St90 and any SAE90 Api GL-1 oil will be fine,don't use EP oils,
Marco from LTH had suggested to me to use Silkolene Pro SRG 75,
I only use straight SAE90 because I can source it easily,never had any problems.

This week I fitted the third one.
I realised that the latest batches have no rivets at the spider to support the tab washer,
is yours the same?

Cheers guys st90 it is then, didn't like the light gear oil recommended for the early style Rocha clutch that this is replacing as seems to find its way out of casings to easy when warm

I going to use a M4 Allen bolt to hold tab washer as there are 5 m4 holes between the springs at right distance, tab washer drops over head just as on a normal spider.

I had tried first a M4 bolt to check,but didn't like the idea,
at the end I cut the washer which I also don't like as it doesn't secure anything.

Nowadays I would have thought a good loctite will be ok and do away with the locktab,which was originally fitted before loctite was used.I can't remember fitting a locktab to mine when I fitted it a year ago but it has been fine.

I've already used loctite on the nut,
I prefer the medium strength,
I use it on most of the engine studs plus on some nuts and bolts,
it can be better seen on the cylinder.

Actually while chucking away all the packaging that clutch came in, I found a m4 bolt with Allen key head (socket cap I think there called) it looks to be aluminium as non magnetic but not stainless,
The stainless Allen socket cap bolt I fitted had a thread length of 5mm and did up very tight, and when in place is exactly like an original spider, the tab just pushes straight over.
