I've got my self a egt cht gauge and need the sensors,
Can any one tell me how long the need to be to get to the head set.
Also what type I need for the cht.
,cheers

You'll need to be a bit more specific... the sensors are not all the same... different connections etc....

I think you'll find most EGT probes are the same (K type) and most are made in China. Personally I find the right angled type to last longer than the straight ones for some reason. The CHT ones do differ though, SOME are k type but others like the ones for the Kosso gauges so as said, more info on make of gauge needed.

Ok,
It's a microlight products Inc gauge
Two sweep needles on a single face.
It came with an EGT sensor and loooking at it its just a case of extending the wire from the k type block to the gauge.
Trying to find a cht sensor that doesn't have to come from Hong Kong.

In that case it will be the K type CHT as well, don't worry about coming from China, they often give 2 to 3 week delivery times but often arrive in less than a week. Be prepared to swap the wires around as the gauges are polarity sensitive ;)

Most sensors seem to come with about 1.5 metres of braided cable which I just roll up and secure with a cable tie under the horn casting.
