dyno tune

A little bit of advice please took my LI, with 185 kit and 12volt vatitronic, to have dyno done and once hooked up and run it sent some readings on the computer haywire very eratic. Is this likely to be the stator, I have checked the resistance on the 12v supply coil and is around 250 ohms and output at idle around 8 volts, or could it be the CDi or regulator?
I have noticed it seems to be a bit boggy at mid range but thought that was the jetting hence the dyno run.
Does anyone know the readings across the stator or have any ideas ?
Thanks

Have you got an Augusto fitted or similar? I have & it used to trip dyno's out.

No haven't got an agusto fitted just straight varitronic with 12v A/C regulator and CDi

Because the Varitronic sparks twice per revolution,a good dyno operator should have a gismo(can't remember it's name) that fits on the HT lead to eliminate electrical interferance.

Wack is spot on as I have experienced the very same on a dyno session, once I told the operator I was using a Varitronic and that it sparked twice he made the relevant adjustment and all was okay.
