AVANTTI REED SET UP

Right nearly there with the XL ,taking it to Taffspeed on weds for pre isle of wight set up. Avantti 70 x 60 ie 230cc, small reed valve mikuni TM24 , air filter in modded spanish air box and 42 mm u pipe on a standard tutu replica exhaust (no cone) .
Also taking the chop engine 70 x 58 indian cast iron cylinder, avantti piston, 28mm PHBH big car air filter , ScootRS s/s system and a Ron Moss large head set to 9 to 1 comp. both run fixed electronic ign 18 degs btdc at the moment.

what reed valve are you using with the TM 24 ?
tried A TM24 on a LTH reed valve on My Rapido 225 but the bottom of the carb fouls the head cowl and vibrates itself off the rubber mount. Switched to a PHBL for the time being .
