Hello , I thought I would ask what is everyone or a good choice for dc wassel conversion is . A battery or capacitor. I only want to run better lights and a sip speedo so did know what to use or what is the smallest battery I could use . I usually dump all my questions and troubles on Captain Pugwash and that man knows his stuff and has helped me loads but I feel guilty for keep asking him to sort out my troubles and questions as he must feelbombarded.

Just really trying to get a feel for what is adequate for my future set up . I have a couple of options ignition wise.
-1 BGM
-2 Captain converted Stator
-3 if possible to convert my Varitronic to suit wassel set up

As I say just really want to use what is best for a reliable set up

Hi Jamjo,
I would say battery .You can bolt a plate under the air box if you have no battery tray (if you still have air box)

And use the thread to fix bracket to tool box

The battery is 5 amp/hr.
If you have a battery the lights still work if you have to push your machine home in the dark

Thank you for the reply Grandpa, I've received some info from Captain which has made my mind up what way to go . Don't have a air filter box but great idea . :D . Like the idea of lights when I'm broke down
