Really need help, im after 200 kit for my 125Li, I have read loads about the different makes.
Just need to know which one would be the most reliable, will be using lamy for rallies and general use.
Im a bit of a lump, so the kit would be able to handle me, camping stuff ect.

Any help?

Personally, I'd make myself a brew and sit down. Then I'd use the "search" facility on this site. Just search on 185, then 186, 190, 195, 198.

You'll find loads of opinions, some very knowledgeable, some misguided. They are just that, opinions.

Also, remember that there are, myself included, very few people who have ridden all the kits out there. So, apply a healthy degree of scepticism when some says one kit over another. If you can try and ride a couple at different ends of the spectrum, say a Casa 185 v. RB20, that might give you a feel of the vast difference in performance and easy rideability.

rideability being important ;)
I would say pick a kit that will allow you to relax when you need to while ridding.

one thing to consider there is no such thing as a bolt on kit to put a 125 over 150cc as the transfer ports are so small on a 125 they will need opening to gain full potential out of a kit as said above there is some great advice on this site. by the sounds of it your looking for torque not revs but it does depend if your going to do the work yourself or farm it out and your budget

If you buy a cylinder kit to fit a 125/150/175 case, then the transfer ports in the cylinder have already be opened to suit the kit.

I sure he was referring to the crankcase ports and the mag housing. ;)

Get the kit and you're half way there.....nearly.......what exhaust, carb', crank, clutch, gearing, ignition, etc, will you need to match the kit and the performance you want.

I stand to be corrected, but I'm sure that the mag housing and crankcase ports are the same size and shape on 125/150 and 175 cases.

I have nothing to gain by my suggestion (in fact, I have a brand new Mugello 200 cylinder small block barrel that needs shifting!) but, having ridden a GT kit briefly, I reckon that would suit your requirements better than any other. I found it’s torque was fuss free in its delivery & that made it so easy to ride, it was a delight.

Ideally, you should try various mates’ set-ups of any of the kits & draw your conclusion.

There's been a very similar thread going for the past 2 days on Lambretta Street racer facebook page. Apart from the Ebay alloy kits there isn't a bad kit out there, they're all very good, you can't really buy a bad kit but you can buy a few that don't suit your riding requirements. On the LSR racer thread every kit got good reviews but overwhelmingly the GT186 was the one that appeared to suit touring because of it's low down torque giving it the ability to pull taller gearing with the right choice of exhaust. It's down side is that it's a cast iron kit so takes a lot more careful running in period, it's upside is that it's a cast iron kit so it gives you more feedback of impending problems by way of nipping up and in the worst case scenario it's a rebore and next size piston, rebore costing around £20 and new piston £50 [piston based on a copy of a Jap trials bike so cheap and easy to get], whereas nicasil plated alloy kits tend not to give you much notice of demise, just a holed piston and a fecked barrel in most cases, which will require a replate [£150 ish] and generally a more expensive piston.

What would be the choice of suitable exhausts for the gt kit?

Two lads I know run them on BGM Clubmans and go like stink on the flat. A taff copy would suit depending on gearing, for touring, if you like expansion pipes.

I run a BGM Clubman with my GT200 kit and a Franspeed Race with my GT186 kit both with 30mm phbh and 4.6 gearing, please with both. Clubman probably the better for round town but the franspeed for fast touring with a little bit extra top end

have you tried swapping them over? the 200 will go loads better with the fran race on imo :p
be interesting as you know each scooter with their pipes so you would feel any difference :)

Richard said the same thing lol Maybe try it at some point, but the GT200 is in my S-Type replica so an expansion wouldn't really work (aesthetically) hence I went for the BGM, but it's certainly no slouch with that pipe
