Anyone ever ran a TS1 200 with a JL4 and 34mm Amal 58mm stroke standard rod.

Can't see why it wouldn't work.

JL4 on a TS1 would require 4.7 final drive.

Yep,
I've got a micron on at the moment which is pretty much a jl3.
My rally bike is an Avanti with a Nk road @4.6 which is totally awesome.
Just looking to make a different ride.
Without a wossner I wouldnt trust the old asso to go above 7.5k without the skirt falling off.
From memory it's Gp 200 19 47 giving 4.8
I would possibly go standard go200 with a revvy pipe.

If using the jl4 i would use a ratio of around 4.9 to 5.2 to1 as the ts is a revy kit and the jl4 is a pipe to suit.

The NK road is a far better pipe than a JL 4 imo. Stronger made and more bottom end but revs about the same.

a JL3 will work ok with a standard ish TS1 set up, no good if your having the cylinder well tuned in any way though.

30mm Dellortto phbh will be fine and as for gearing, either Li150 or Indian GP200 will both work well :D

Why not go the whole old School route and go RD400 rodded crank,Yamaha IT 175 piston, beautifully smooth motor.

I have a crank with the Yamaha outboard rod. 18mm small end and now Rich Taylor does conversion bearing 18-16mm.

but to be honest with the light piston in there its pretty smooth as it is.
