Sorry that's a bit confusing.

Standard GP / Li crank is 107mmm rod and 58mm stroke
Standard TV crank is 116mm rod and 58mm stroke

The pistons have different piston heights to compensate(the distance between the gudgeon pin and the crown).

It very much depends on whether your 175 barrel/piston combination is a conversion barrel / piston with the 'standard' piston pin position for use with a 107mm rod or a genuine TV175 barrel and piston for use with the 116mm rod.

The Mugello barrel and piston will be designed for the standard 107/58 type crank so depending on what's in there now, you may need to change the crank. Otherwise you need a big packer.

You can get the Mugello barrel for the long rod you just need to make sure it's the correct one.

I wasn't aware you could get a long rod Mugello, but even so I don't think it's clear which crank(s) the OP has

It does say GP road race crank so I imagine it is 107/58 which will be fine for the Mugello!

Not sure what the 70mm bit means though?

Yes but if this is a GP road race with 107 rod it can't be set up for a TV barrel surely? A GP crank could potentially be built with either rod. I've also no idea what the 70mm refers to either.

If it is he can use it with the regular Mugello but if it's set for a TV top end and a 116 rod he needs the other one mentioned above.

Absolutely Ross, I really think we need more info' from the o/p. Perhaps he just has a 175 conversion barrel and not a TV one,

Ok as long as it has the longer rod then you should be fine with the 175 or the long rod type Mugello.

If it's the normal rod then your TV barrel and piston are no use and you'd want the normal rod type Mugello.
