Bitubo shock which way up?

Postby MJD » Sun Mar 20, 2016 11:05 am

I have an adjustable shock to fit but which way? I would think it is piston shaft to top and adjuster nuts to bottom, but all the writing on the shocker is upside down? Perhaps it's Australian!

it will work either way.

the R1 shocks on some series 1/2's are sometimes fitted "upside down" for clearance issues.

The current perceived wisdom is the heaviest end attaches to the frame.
It's all to do with minimising unsprung weight.
