Looking to fit one of these to a standard 175 engine. Can anyone point me in the direction of the best ones on the market please?

pays your money takes your choice....

have a look at the Sterling expansion pipes, they do a version specifically for the S2.... rev out quite well and good value at £100.

In a test run by scootering magazine some years ago the best expansion exhaust for cost and power was the Saigon scooters version of the 42mm Fresco , not sure if they are still available or not , I had one some years ago on a 200 engine and it went like stink :)

I had one of the taffy style exhausts on a 175 engine with li150 gearbox and think it may have been a 16tooth front sprocket though may have been the 15.

lovely torque and good speed all the way through the gears, i was very happy with it though it was an early one, the steel on them was quite thin and it soon cracked on the downpipe, a quick weld and it was sorted. dont know if the later ones are better or not.

Oh and youll definitely need to cut the footboards.
