Hello
Has anybody used a supertourer on a Rapido 225 with reed ( atomic reed plus boost port added ) and 30mm PHBH to good effect and if so what was your start point for jetting? I'm using Indian GP200 box and gearing.
Thanks
Gareth

There was a similar discussion a few weeks ago. I have almost identical setup (mine's LTH reed block) With bit of porting inc. boost port (care of RFS tuning). Goes very well,
heres the carb jetting I posted then if it helps. General view of other posters was that pilot was a bit large - hence the bronchial nature if in traffic or tootling about.
Pilot: 57
Slide: 40
Needle: X7
Atomiser: AV266
135 main jet
ramair filter onto bellmouth
set up on the A64 'dyno' by Kempy
it's a bit 'bronchial' from cold and/or standing start but clears her throaght above 4k revs - just dropped needle to 2nd lowest setting (i.e circlip on next to top groove) and runs a bit cleaner

Cheers for that, I haven't seen the other discussion from a few weeks back. I'll have a look now. Thanks for the response and spec.

Just found this thread
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6276&p=52461&hilit=rapido#p52461 but nobody mentions the supertourer pipe. I take it that's what you are running then Swat?

I am..
Did have a Fresco 48mm on it but much improved with the supertourer. starts to come alive at about 5k revs & pulls strongly through to 7 to 7.5k revs then starts to run out of puff
I'm running sx200 drivetrain 4.8-1 final drive and it's happiest at 60 - 65 mph on a long ride
