Somebody somewhere will have snapped one of anything. Depends how careful you are at making sure it fits without stressing it.

The choice of exhaust is also depends on your choice of gearing - no point in fitting and out and out race pipe if you geared it 4.4 -1 unless it's got the torque to pull.

If you can get a B-Race Exhaust they are very strong and make good power, I got the Stealth model, fantastic build quality and you could take it off and knock a brick wall down with it!!!

Rocking horse shite to get a hold of and built for specific applications - no guarantee that if you get one it will be right for your motor.

Agree they are hard to get, they can be used in different style engines, mine came to fit TS1 but I sent it to Simon and he changed it to fitted a Classic Rapido Kit/Standard Stub and it went very well on that set up...

I was using a fraspeed race on my ts i had it dynod at darrell taylors and then swapped for one of darrells tsr pipes. I ended up with the same 30bhp but with darrells tsr the torque was up from low down by as much as 5lbft which total transformed the motor. Im about as areo dynamic as a coal bunker but my scoot will pull from 30mph in 4th no problem , pulls 4th on hills i used to have to drop to 3rd for and revs on to 9500rpm. 30bhp/23lbft torque

Interesting, which TSR pipe did you use?

Scootering mag did a TS1 exhaust test 3 or 4 years ago. Outcome was that the Franspeed Race gave the top BHP figure, the ADS3 gave the best torque figures and that the NK mid-range gave good power with good torque and was deemed to be the overall best pipe ...... I'm not sure that the Supertourer was available then ....

but as Ross says below ...

The choice of exhaust is also depends on your choice of gearing - no point in fitting and out and out race pipe if you geared it 4.4 -1 unless it's got the torque to pull.

I recently sold an ADS3 for a TS1, this is what the buyer said ...
It's great Martin. I must be getting old but I really enjoy making the power low down. It's so much more relaxing than chasing the power. It pulls my gearing with ease and I haven't felt that I need more top end revs with it. ( hope that's not famous last words!)

Hi its the TSR evo but darrell tweeks them in some way to improve the performance. You can buy them direct for him.
