gt200 or 225 ?

Looking at putting a new kit on my italian gp200 , i would like to keep the looks as standard as possible, so will be putting a box pipe on, ideally i would also like to keep original gearing ie italian gp200 box 18x47 and 4 plate clutch, im happy to put stronger springs in as i am sure it will need them , i am leaning towards the gt200 or maybe 225 ? , 30mm phbh with remote filter, bgm box pipe , not sure about crank whether to go for 58 or 60 , i mostly do 2 up riding , and want something to sit at 60 with plenty left for overtaking.
my question is will this all work ok? And is anyone using this set up ?
Thanks , Steve

I'm running a GT200 on one of mine with PHBH 30 (Open mouth), BGM clubman, Mec 58/107 crank, Li150 17/46. Pulls 60 with ease and plenty left for over taking, bags of torque too, will still pull in 4th up hill whilst those with more horses and expansions are changing down.

I started with a standard 4 plate clutch with uprated springs but that only survived about 2k miles, changed to a Readspeed 5 plate (fits with standard spider, etc.) and that feels much stronger.

Why not just re-work the original cylinder? you'll be surprised at what results can be achieved! :D

One of the GT 60/110 cranks will help even more, I've got one with my GT186 kit, but that is built for 1 up fast touring with a franspeed race

Im happy with GT200 kit in std format, its been on all season and performs well.
I did try with ron moss clubman for a few months but didnt quite pack the punch i was after, running wqith 60 x 110 crank, phbh 30 and modded Evo pipe with TT end can which does sit very snug on my Italian Gp200

Few options-port the cylinder for piston port induction or use a one of the currently available reed inlets, add boost ports etc.,
