Following on from my "oops" thread my vega motor is now rebuilt and run in ( a few runs on a nearby rolling road), near the epicentre of tuning. Shit fuel drained and a good flow of new fuel supplied via intravenous drip and bypass the tank straight to carb (not enough flow from tap). A few timing adjustments made along the way and now have some bhp figures
Here is the set up
50mm on the bore x 44mm stroke
Top secret tune on the cylinder with an lth reedvalve.
25mm phbl carb.
Varitronic ignition.
Modified expansion pipe, I had a choice of two and picked this one as I liked the look of it and it required less work to fit.
So, what bhp do you think it made on the rolling road???.
