jetex atomiser mods

hi ,
anyone got any details of the 5899-2 atomiser modications to richen up mid range . any help would be great .

Pretty sure you just drill the centre hole down the tube to 2mm but then again an adult may be along soon to contradict that :shock:

You could buy them ready done from Allstyles, not sure if you still can.

Can't claim to be an adult.

If you want to richen the mid range you need smaller holes, not larger.

That's brilliant, i'm saving that. So really if he needs to richen the mid range he needs a 5899-4 then (smaller mid-range holes) ?

Not quite as simple as that, the other holes in 5899-4 are different to 5899-2 so they will have an impact other areas of throttle opening

Whatever you decide don`t try drilling, its not as easy as it sounds

I agree, jet reamers are the best option for changing jet and hole sizes in carbs
