If the bearing is a genuine Koyo, there should be no issue. There are counterfeits of everything. though, these days...

Where is the bearing tight? The magneto housing or the crankshaft? Or is it all fitted & tight to turn? (I take it that you are using the Koyo outer with the Koyo inner & not left the old crankshaft inner in place. You wouldn't be the first...)

Is that crankshaft to the sleeve (inner bearing)?

Or have you fitted the Koyo sleeve (inner bearing) & the bearing rollers are tight on it?

Hmmm.

I'm not sure what to say other than ask if there are any suffixes to the standard designation?

It will be an 'NU2205' & then it may have 'C2' or C012' or something like that.

If so, I can suss it out for you.
