Snatchy Outboard Disc...

Postby foremanbob » Mon May 01, 2017 11:54 pm

Got a scootrs disc brake at the front... the outboard version...

This ha s always been too powerful for the scoot, but recently at low speeds has been very snatchy.

Coming up to a roundabout.. as careful as ever... but coming up to park... front end just locks up solid....

Anyone any ideas... ?

I had a similar problem on my GTS but on the rear and found the pads were down to the metal

Common problem with sintered pads in those brakes. If you change to a less aggressive organic pad (Carbone Lorraine make one) then you get much better feel.
