scoot RS disc

Postby rexton270s » Thu Jun 08, 2017 3:55 pm

i have a scoot RS inboard disc on one of my scooters, never really got it to work as good as a drum brake,so am thinking of converting it with a hydraulic actuator instead of the copy one by RS! has anyone done the same and has it made any difference in braking performance ? i still want to use the original brake lever so the reservoir will be hiden in the horn casing!

D I've got an Evergreen inboard that's been converted if you are interested. I'm not using it. Give us a bell

I have to say, my Rs disc works a treat on my S2 with reverse pull. Very happy with it.

If you still have the original pads fitted I'd advise changing them for the copper sintered ones from Scootopia.

Alternatively you can buy just the back plate with hydraulic caliper fitted, Beedys sell them.

I have a ScootRS inboard disc with reverse pull and sintered pads on the front of my series 3 and an ordinary drum on the front of my series 2,the disc is much better.
