Hey,
For some time my beloved TS1 has been making terrible grinding/rattling noises.
Couldnt pinpoint the exact problem but knew a major top end inspection/rebuild was urgently needed.
Being about a 6/10 on the tools I was scared but with limited finances ( 4 daughters) I decided to give it a go.
After carefully listening /revving and approx 4 MINUTES I have fixed my top end problem , resulting in a much smoother more powerful ride. Even the brakes, suspension and even the handling seem to have benefited from my work.
Now heres the thing .
No one on here ( or in Stickys book ) has ever mentioned that by simply tightening the four bolts which secure the rear wheel carrier to the frame you can not only cure engine problems, brake and handling issues, but also it has improved my relationship with the wife and cured my insomnia.
BOOM !

Haha brilliant!!

My tip for curing said rattles, grinding noises and general paranoia inducing engine sounds.... ear plugs  works every time for me, just make sure your breakdown cover is up to date ;)

3 lambrettas, a triumph and 2 bicycles here.

Oh, and 2 daughters.

And I'm sure there's a wife in there somewhere too.

I've worn earplugs for the last few long rides/rallies, and am amazed at how much quieter and faster mine is as a result. Instant tuning!
