i know it probably been asked alot on here about hydraulic inboard disc set ups. ive seen a few remade converted to hydraulic inboard disc brakes at reasonable money , just wanted to know peoples thoughts on them . if i was to go for one i would be using a handle bar mounted master cylinder and not hidden. cheers simon

I fitted one to my LiS earlier this year and I'm very impressed with it, the MOT tester managed to lock the front wheel on the test :o He did have hands like a gorilla though 8-)

Mine was made for hydraulic operation though i.e. the slave cylinder is bolted to the disk hub.

I've got a scoot rs one that looks like an original disc is fully hydraulic but uses drum links on my s2 it works a treat and isn't as snatchy as the out board one I've got on my Lynx

I didn't like that the scootRS version had a slave cylinder held in place by a circlip. The current VIetnamese version is made by Spaq and has a bigger slave cylinder that's bolted on so should expect it's more secure.
