I’d say either the reeds are knackered or the piston is in wrong way round

If plug is dry it seems like a fuel starvation problem so possibly a kink in the fuel pipe or blocked vent in filler cap maybe? Sometimes it is a simple thing which you can't see at first.

Had a similar problem with an imola kit in that the head wasn't threaded deep enough for the plug. When tightened it felt tight but was bottoming out. This drove me mad for weeks so took it to Rayspeed and they found it. I would still be looking. Most frustrating. Similar, would run for a bit then cut out and wouldn't start

I had a similar problem after rebuilding last year. Would start, run for a bit then stall... I’d fitted a new fuel tap that had increased the reserve. I had about 4 litres but it was quite enough. Turned on the reserve and it was fine... it’s the stupidest of things sometimes... :?

Dry plug = no fuel.
