Footboard would look like this for these early models. Seeing if I have a plastic I can take a pic of as well...

you would also see a half circle cut out on the L bracket the footboard attaches too

What is this hole for?
What was Ferdinando thinking about it ? :)

There is a small hole on the cross member of an early TV,kickstart side only.
I was thinking that the previous owner did it.

Both are Innocenti.

I found this:

Antivibration Plugs: The Series 3 machines had 4 anti-vibration plugs fitted to the flywheel cowling from the following frame numbers:
TV 175 (Series 3) - frame number 508889 onwards

I would have thought it would be the name of the seat manufacturer?

What year was the metallic blue paint introduced and where is the best info for the Series 3 TV range please.

The reason for asking is that I'm interested in buying a S3 TV175 and am trying to gather as much info before I start looking at one to buy.
Obviously I have this site for reference, British Lambretta Archive and Sticky's book which all provide good info... just wondered if there are any further sites etc I might be unaware of?

Hi folks, was after a bit of information regarding the Series 3 TV 200.
I've just been to look at one over the weekend and the frame number
has the correct TV3 prefix followed by a frame number 5490++ but the frame
is non chrome ring.I know that the very last few 200s and 175s didn't have
the chrome ring but were they changed this early ?

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be really appreciated.

Regards Mark

I recently picked up a late production TV200 and the frame number (5528XX) is over 80 units above the official production figures. It's low mileage, original paint and has all the late features (NCR, black plastic headset pulleys, SX/GP rear hub etc..). The engine, which I know is original to the frame, is even higher (5547XX). I've seen GP/dl models that were significantly over production figures but I'm not surprised given the state of the factory in the early '70s. Anyone have anymore info on TV200 'over production'?

Every day is a school day with Innocenti
