Saddle seatsxseries 1 and 2

Can anyone tell me how to raise and lower the seats? Sorry for my ignorance guys but i have changed from a single seat to saddle seats.

The only way I can think of doing it is to put washers between the seat and the frame to raise it but they're not meant to be adjustable. You can make the front saddle harder or softer by tightening or loosening the bolt with the spring on in the middle
